Paragraph 514.13 below has NOT been modified in the NFPA 70, 2008 National Electrical Code.

The paragraph below has been modified in the NFPA 70, 2005 National Electrical Code to read as the following paragraph.

514.13 Provisions for Maintenance and Service of Dispensing Equipment. Each dispensing device shall be provided with a means to remove all external voltage sources, including feedback, during periods of maintenance and service of the dispensing equipment.  The location of this means shall be permitted to be other than inside or adjacent to the dispensing device.  The means shall be capable of being locked in the open position.

The paragraph below has been modified in the NFPA 70, 2002 National Electrical Code to read as the following paragraph.

514.13 Provisions for Maintenance and Service of Dispensing Equipment. Each dispensing device shall be provided with a means to remove all external voltage sources, including feedback, during periods of maintenance and service of the dispensing equipment.  The location of this means shall be permitted to be other than inside or adjacent to the dispensing device.

The following paragraph has been added to the NFPA 70, 1999 National Electrical Code.

514-6. Provisions for Maintenance and Service of Dispensing Equipment. Each dispensing device shall be provided with a means to remove all external voltage sources, including feedback, during periods of maintenance and service of the dispensing equipment.

Our system will eliminate feedback 24 Hours a day without the use of any other switches or relays.
